Privacy Policy

Effective October 22, 2026

The Bourgeois Society is a magazine published by Sing To Me LLC. This page explains, in plain words, what information this site collects, why, and the choices you have.

Tracking waits for your permission

This site uses two measurement tools: the Meta Pixel (Facebook) and a Google tag. Neither one loads until you click "Accept" on our cookie notice. If you click "Reject," or never click anything, those tools do not run and do not track you. You can change your mind at any time with the "Cookie Choices" link in the footer of any page on this site, which clears your saved choice and shows the notice again.

What the tools measure, if you accept

Pages you visit on this site, the type of device and browser you use, and general location taken from your internet address. Meta and Google receive that information under their own privacy policies. We use it only to understand which articles readers enjoy.

Other companies you can reach from our pages

Some articles include a video play button. A video loads from YouTube (Google), using YouTube's privacy-enhanced player, only when you press play; YouTube then receives your internet address and device information under its own privacy policy. Source links at the end of profiles open the publisher's own page inside a viewer frame on this site; that publisher then receives your internet address under its own privacy policy. If you click an affiliate link or any other link to another website, that company receives your click under its own privacy policy; our Affiliate Disclosure names the affiliate programs we take part in.

No feature on this site sends anything you type or do to an artificial-intelligence service. This site has no chat, no search box, and no forms that send visitor input anywhere.

Information you give us directly

If you email us, we receive what you send — for example your name and email address — and use it only to answer you. This site has no forms, no newsletter signup, and no accounts, and it stores no database of reader information.

What we never do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not collect information from children under 13 on purpose.

Cookies

With your permission, the measurement tools set cookies — small files in your browser that recognize a returning visit. Your browser settings can block or delete cookies at any time. This site also saves one small setting in your browser that remembers your Accept or Reject choice, so we do not ask on every page; that setting holds no personal information.

Your choices and rights

You can opt out of Meta's ad tracking in your Facebook settings and of Google's at Google's ad settings pages. If you live in California or another place with privacy rights, you may ask us what personal information we hold about you and ask us to delete it. Email jeffreystrotherrivera@gmail.com with your request. The only information we ourselves can hold about you is email you have sent us; we will delete it on request and reply to confirm. Measurement data from the tracking tools is held by Meta and Google, not by us, and their settings above control it.
